Major Scott May (VA)

Deputy Commandant

You will experience so much when you come to Fishburne: hardships, personal conflicts, consequences to your actions, and adult living situations where you will learn that sometimes life is unfair, painful and exhausting. Don’t worry. Thousands of cadets have gone before you and you will be fine. You may even have a tighter bond with your friends at Fishburne than your friends at home. I can promise you that most students will leave FMS more resilient, mentally and physically stronger and with more leadership experience that most grown men have in their lives.

CREDENTIALS
I hold an Associate’s Degree from Blue Ridge Community College. My military service includes the U.S. Army from January 1991 to December 1994 as an Infantry Sergeant.

INTERESTS
I am a member of the Cornerstone Church of Augusta, serve with Hometown and Life Safety Missions, and am a member of the Virginia Citizens Defense League. In my spare time, I love to be outside hunting, fishing, bike riding, cutting firewood and just enjoying the outdoors.
